A LARGE sum of cash was taken from a home in Letterkenny yesterday evening and gardai are investigating.
The burglary happened at a house in Glencar between 9.30 and 10.30 pm.
According to gardai the burglar(s) gained entry through an unlocked door and took a large sum of cash from the house.

Garda Claire Rafferty is appealing to anyone who was in the Glencar Road area over that time period and noticed anyone acting suspiciously to contact Gardai.
“We would encourage anyone in the area who saw anything suspicious on Monday evening between 9.30 pm and 10.30 pm to please get in touch at Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100,” she said.
