Gaeil Leitir Ceanainn ratified Aidy Glackin as their new senior men’s team manager last night.
Glackin is a former senior bainisteoir with Glenswilly, and he also managed his native club at reserve and Under 21 level.
David Cafferkey will be part of Glackin’s backroom team as a selector.
Both Cafferkey and Glackin have previously been involved with the Donegal senior set-up as performance analysts.
It is understood that Conor Cunningham will be part of the ticket as a coach.
Cunningham has managed the Kilcar and Aodh Ruadh senior teams in recent years.
Gaeil Leitir Ceanainn had a disappointing 2024 season. They weren’t in the promotion picture in Division 3 of the All-County League and were then relegated from the Intermediate Championship.
They will be back in the Junior ranks next term, and will be hoping for improved fortunes under Glackin’s guidance.
