GINTY, Seán – formerly Old Barracks, Buncrana. peacefully at his home (Retired Chief Superintendent of An Garda Síochána). Pre-deceased by loving wife Mona.
Sadly missed by daughters Aine O’Kane (Ballymena), Helen Boyle (Trentagh), sons Kevin (Letterkenny), Michael (Tipperary), Seán (Letterkenny).
Deeply regretted by sister Maureen Pitduck (London). Always remembered by extended family members, neighbors and friends.

Sean’s remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass in St. Eunan’s Cathedral at 3 pm on Wednesday, August 26th, followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.

My heartfelt condolences to his family always visited him in South Africa when he was seconded to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and based in the East London office. A true gentleman to the end. I used to travel with him all over our Province on our investigations and l still think about him to this day as l drive through the same roads . May his soul rest in Eternal peace.
