Gillespie enthused by Milford’s improved attitude

MILFORD United manager Noel Gillespie is enthused by his side’s improved attitude this season, and he hopes they can put last week’s blip behind them when they travel to Rab’s Park this Sunday to take on neighbours, Kerrykeel ’71 at 1pm.

Milford have been one of the most consistent teams in the Donegal Junior League over the last twenty years, but they had lost their way somewhat in recent times.

They were relegated out of the Premier Division, and then almost fell through the trap door to the third tier, before a decent finish put them into the play-off and they defeated Gweedore United last season.

The signs of improvement weren’t overly positive after the Brian McCormick Cup Area Shield but since the start of the league season, they have stepped it up a notch or two.
