SWILLY Rovers manager Jason Gibson has said he will sit down with the club at the end of the season to discuss his future there.
“I am very grateful to Swilly for bringing me down because there are never too many opportunities going in the Ulster Senior League, but when I came into the job I said I wanted to improve year on year, I just don’t want to be manager for the sake of it.”
Gibson has been at the helm in Swilly Park for three seasons now and saw his side capture the Knockalla Caravans Cup this year.
“In the first year we finished mid-table and last year we were 3rd. This year we might have dropped back a place in the league but have won a cup. We are making progress but I still think the time is right to sit down and chat with the club about the future, to see if we can kick on and challenge for the title,” he said.
