GERAGHTY – The death has occurred of Philomena (Phyl) Geraghty (née Tunney), Tullymore, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, peacefully on the 22nd February in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Our Lady’s Hospital, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Pat Geraghty and pre-deceased by her grandchildren James, Patrick and Méabh.
Will be deeply missed by her sister Bridie Reynolds; children Michael, Patsy, Loretta, Gerry, Tommy, Bridie and Mena; grandchildren Michael and wife Luli, Ryan, Gerard, Deborah, Eryn, Cealán, Tom, Jack, Lilia, Leona, Cara, Mary, Órla; great granddaughter Lana; daughters-in-law Carmel and Margaret; sons-in-law Charlie, Joe and Vijay; nephews Michael, Paul and families, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her family home from 4 pm until 9 pm on Thursday and Friday. House private on morning of funeral, please. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for 11 am funeral Mass, burial afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery. There will be a one way system in operation for the wake, entry via Legaltan on the Rossnowlagh Road L7675 and exit via Tullyhorkey on to the Donegal Road.
