GE 16: Deputy McConalogue closing in on 10,000 votes

OUTGOING Fianna Fail Deputy Charlie McConalogue continues to poll well as ballot boxes in the Letterkenny and Milford Electoral areas are added to the mix.
McConagloe polled very well in his native Inishowen and he now sits on 8,800 (36%) with fellow Inishowen man Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn (SF) over 4,000 (17%) with his party colleagues Deputy Pearse Doherty 2,000 and Gary Doherty on 536.
Elsewheer, Deputy Joe McHugh (FG) has scured over 3,000 while his running mate Paddy Harte is on 750.
