AT 8.20pm this evening returning officer, Geraldine O’Connor, officially confirmed what we had already known for hours – Charlie McConalogue had topped the poll and also reached the quota.
Cordelia NicFhearraigh has just been eliminated and the second count will be the distribution of her votes
