Gavin and Claire are new faces of h.wood beauty in California

DONEGAL’S Los Angeles based actor Gavin Ó Fearraigh has become the male face for California of a brand new cosmetics line which everyone talking about in Tinseltown lately.

h.wood.beauty is a brand new line specialising in the finest cosmetics and decadent body products.
The brand hails from Hollywood and was inspired by h.wood.tea, a tea line created for use at the exclusive VIP Tea Room of Hollywood nightclub h.wood.

By combining the flavours of h.wood.tea with the undeniably cool vibes of the Tea Room at h.wood, h.wood.beauty has concocted a modern and unique beauty line.

The beauty line has already been featured in magazines read worldwide such as Vogue, People and Glamour and many others.

Gavin has just been revealed as the line’s male face of California while the female face is another Irish actor based in Los Angeles, Claire Bermingham from Navan, Co Meath.

Gavin and Claire were recommended to the owners of the line by Los Angeles Irish Film Festval director, Lisa McLaughlin from Malin who also lives in Los Angeles.

Last Wednesday night the two new faces of the product line were presented to the public at a cross market event with GUESS by Marciano store in Los Angeles.

“The event was amazing and went really so we are very pleased.

“We have now been booked for another night, a fashion event at the Reiss Limited Store on Robertson Boulevard,” said Gavin.

The Gaoth Dobhair man has gained a lot of experience modelling for print work living in Los Angeles, while still focussing on his acting career, and this is a major break.

Gavin said he was very pleased that another Irish native was chosen as the female face of h.wood.
A graduate in Drama and Advanced Acting the Samuel Beckett Centre at Trinity College, Navan beauty Claire Bermingham moved to Los Angeles in summer of 2010 after her graduation.

Since making the move she has become a member of the Screen Actors Guild having played lead roles in several independent films, Oh So Poetic and Frightening, Arden, Choosing Signs, 6 years 4 months & 23 days, Anniversarius Interruptus and Killing Frisco playing opposite Golden Globe nominated actor Scarface’s Manny Ribera, Steven Bauer.

She is represented by Debra Manners of Sovereign Talent Group, who manage Eric Roberts, Joan Collins, Hulk Hogan and even the voice of Homer Simpson, Dan Castellaneta.

Claire said: “I was thrilled when they asked me to be the Face of California for h.wood beauty and I couldn’t be happier to share the title with none other than male face Gavin.

“It is a pleasure and a privilege that two Irish actors are the representatives of such a hip happening Hollywood sensation and we are so excited to take h.wood around the world as well as explore the new avenues and opportunities it will bring for our continuing careers in Hollywood’s entertainment industry.”
