PEOPLE attending this weekend’s Donegal v Mayo game at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny are being advised of parking restrictions.
The Allianz National Football League (Round 3) Donegal v Mayo game will take place on Sunday. Throw in is at 1.45pm.
Parking at O’ Donnell Park will be limited to those attending with relevant passes. The area around the park is mainly residential with no parking available. There is limited disabled parking availability in the vicinity of the grounds.
People attending the game from the town side of the grounds are encouraged to arrive early and to avail of parking within the town (town car parks) and to walk to the grounds or to avail of the free shuttle bus which will be available from Kernan’s Spar before the game.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to all those who plan on attending to only park where it is legal and safe to do so. Do not park on footpaths at Ballymacool estate, on footpaths along the main road or park in any manner that might block access for emergency services, pedestrians or wheelchair users. Gardaí will be patrolling the area.
“Please follow directions given by Gardaí and stewards in the area. We hope that everyone has an enjoyable day and we wish both teams the best of luck.”
