Donegal Gardaí have issued a warning over a text message scam currently doing the rounds.
The message appears to be from eFlow and claims the customer has an outstanding balance.
eFlow is the operator of the barrier-free tolling system on Dublin’s M50 motorway.

A spokesperson for local Gardaí said, “This is yet another example of an attempt to scam people out of their money.
“The advice remains the same – never click on the link within an unsolicited text message and never provide your personal information.
“If you think you have been a victim of fraud please report the matter to your bank and to Gardaí immediately.”
