GARDAÍ in Donegal are urging motorists to be cautious as roadside hedge cutting season gets underway.

A garda spokesperson said: “We would like to remind all road users to be mindful of this when travelling, particularly when using country roads.

“There is likely to be a visible increase in this type of large machinery in operation along the roadside over the coming weeks.

“Please drive with care and remain alert at all times.”
