GARDAÍ have paid thanks to the public following the arrest of a man in connection with a burglary in Ballybofey.
Gardaí issued an appeal last week for information in relation to a burglary in the Blue Cedars area on June 6. They have confirmed that a man has since been arrested and questioned in relation to the incident. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
“We often rely on the assistance of the public in order to help solve crimes and we very much appreciate when they do come forward with information or dash cam footage so we want to say thank you to everybody who does make contact with us when they have information or material that might help us,” said a garda spokesperson.
