A woman reported missing earlier today has been located.

An appeal was launched this morning into the whereabouts of 25-year-old Edel McGirr from Ballybofey.

Gardaí have confirmed that she has been found safe and well.

“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter,” said a spokesperson.
