GARDAÍ have seized a car in Derrybeg after discovering it had not been taxed for over 1,000 days.
This comes after gardaí from the Milford Roads Policing Unit stopped a car at a checkpoint in the area yesterday morning.
Following inspection, they discovered the car had not been taxed for over 1,000 days, had no NCT and they suspected that the driver had no insurance.

The car was then seized.
Court will now follow and a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice will also be issued.
