GARDAÍ are continuing to appeal for witnesses after an elderly man was knocked down at Lower Main Street, Letterkenny last week.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the collision at approximately 1pm last Thursday, January 15.
A garda spokesperson said: “A pedestrian, aged in his 80s, was conveyed to Letterkenny University Hospital for medical treatment.
“His injuries are not believed to be life threatening nature.
“No other injuries were reported at the time.”
Meanwhile, gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
“Any road users, who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in the area between 12.15pm and 1.15pm on Thursday, January 15 are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí,” a garda spokesperson continued.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on (074) 916 7100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
