GARDAÍ are appealing for dash-cam footage following a single vehicle collision in Lifford on Saturday morning.
The collision occurred on the N14 at Mulnagung, between Lifford and Letterkenny, at approximately 6.40am.
A garda spokesperson said: “The driver in question had been travelling towards Letterkenny at the time of the collision.
“She reported that a silver car that was travelling in the opposite direction (from Letterkenny towards Lifford) overtook a lorry on a bend and she was forced to take avoidance action by veering towards the grass verge in order to avoid a head on collision with them.
“The driver was not injured but damage was caused to her car.
“The other driver did not remain at the scene.”
Meanwhile, gardaí are appealing to the driver of the silver car in question to get in touch.
“We appeal to the driver of the silver car in question to get in touch with gardaí in Letterkenny and we also appeal to the lorry driver who was at the scene at the time to make contact with us,” a garda spokesperson concluded.
