GARDAÍ are investigating an assault by a man and woman on another female in Letterkenny.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning on the Port Road close to the Station Roundabout.
Letterkenny Garda Sergeant Paul Wallace said, “This occurred between 1.45am and 2am when a female crossed the road and was attacked by a male and a female. She was taken to hospital but we don’t believe her injuries to be life threatening.

“We would however be appealing to witnesses, possibly taxi drivers who would have been moving about at that time of night. It did occur close to where the taxis sit so someone may have seen something.”
