GARDAÍ are investigating two alleged assaults on two teenagers in Ballybofey.
The two alleged assualts occurred at Lower Main Street, Ballybofey, in alleyway down the side of the old cinema building leading to St. Vincent’s Close, on Wednesday, April 16 between approximately 6.30pm and 7pm.
A female in her teens reported that she was assaulted by a male teenager at that location between those times. She suffered injuries as a result, none of which are believed to be life threatening in nature.
A male teenager reported that he was assaulted by a group female teenagers at that location between those times. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening in nature.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed these incidents to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. We also appeal to road users with a dash-cam to make the footage available to Gardaí if they travelled at Main Street, Ballybofey or in the area of St. Vincent’s Close between 6.15pm and 7.15pm on that date.
