GARDAÍ in Letterkenny are investigating a number of thefts that have taken place over the last week including tools and a power washer.
The theft of a Bosch toolbox, drill and batteries took place from the back of a white VW van last Friday, December 2.
The vehicle had been parked in Glenwood Park, Letterkenny, between the hours of 8.30am to 11am.
The owner of the van had left the back doors of the van unlocked as he was carrying out maintenance at a house in the estate.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who has any relevant information that might assist with our investigation to make contact with gardaí in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100.”
Meanwhile Gardaí are investigating the theft of a power washer stolen from the garden of a property in Letterkenny.
The theft occurred at a house in College Park sometime between Wednesday, November 30 at 9pm and 8.30am the following day.
A Loncin 3000 Power Washer was stolen from the back garden of the property between those times.
If anybody can assist with information in relation to this incident, they are asked them to contact gardaí in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100.
A garda spokesperson said that should anyone come across this type of power washer for sale in suspicious circumstances, that they make gardaí aware immediately.
