Gardaí are investigating the theft of 24 sheep from a farm at Ballyboe, St Johnston.
The theft occurred sometime between 5pm on Wednesday February 15 and 11am on Friday February 17.
12 of the sheep have a red marking sprayed on their head and four have blue sprayed on their back.

Gardaí are unsure whether the other eight had markings or not.
