LETTERKENNY Gardai are investigating an alleged assault that took place at the Market Square last Friday morning (July 16).
The incident occurred between 00.30am and 00.50am when a male is believed to have been assaulted by two other males. He was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University hospital for medical treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A spokesperson for the Gardai said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny. Market Square would often be a place where many of the taxi drivers park and we are appealing to them or any other driver who may have been in the area and who had a dash cam to make their footage available to us.
