Gardai investigating Letterkenny armed robbery

Garda

GARDAI in Letterkenny are appealing for information after an apparent armed robbery at a petrol station in the town last night.

Two men, one of whom appeared to be carrying a handgun, burst into the Glencar Filling Station on Circular Road at around 9.50pm last night, threatened staff and made off several hundred euro in cash. The men used scarves to cover their faces.

No staff members were injured during the incident, however, they were said to be left shaken.
