Gardaí investigating early morning fire to vehicles in Loch an Iúir

Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage which took place at a house in Loch an Iúir early this morning.

At approximately 5.10am on Friday, October 10, a van and a car parked at a house were set on fire.

A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with this investigation and has been detained at a station in the Garda North Western Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

“Investigations are ongoing,” a garda spokesperson said.
