GARDAÍ are investigating damage caused to a grave in St Mary’s Church Graveyard in Ramelton.
The damage is believed to have occurred on Friday, July 26 however, it was reported some weeks later.
The damage was caused to a grave surround within the graveyard and it is believed to have happened in the morning time between 10am and 11am.

A garda spokesperson said: “This is a very upsetting incident for the family involved and we are very anxious to progress the matter.
“If anybody has relevant information we ask them to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
