GARDAÍ are investigating the hijacking of a car as well as a number of criminal damage incidents which happened on Sunday.
The vehicle that was hijacked was a grey Seat Altea with a northern Ireland registration, 2012 model which occurred in Bridgend.
“The incidents occurred at approximately 8.30pm,” said a garda spokesperson.
“Investigating Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to these incidents to come forward. They are particularly appealing to those with video footage (including dash-cam) from the Bridgend area, between 8.15pm and 8.45pm, to make contact.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Burnfoot Garda Station on (074) 9368194, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.”
