GARDAI are treating as suspicious the death of a man in Buncrana. The body of a 68 year-old was found in a house at Swilly Road on Saturday evening.
It is believed the man’s body was found in the hallway of his home and he sustained an injury to his head.
A pathologist from the State Pathologist’s office in Dublin is due to examine the scene today (Sunday)
The area has been preserved by Gardai.
“The deceased has been removed to Letterkenny General hospital, the Office of the State Pathologist has been informed and a post mortem will be undertaken,” a garda spokesman said.
“The results of this will determine the course of the investigation,” he added.
