ANOTHER break in occurred in Letterkenny this week, the fifth in the county over the past four weeks.
Thieves gained access to McCullagh Jewellers in Letterkenny Shopping Centre at around 2am in the early hours of Monday morning. Gardai were alerted immediately after the alarm system was activated.
It is believed the gang fled the scene as garda arrived, dropping a number of pieces of jewellery but did get away with other items. This is the fifth robbery in Donegal in the past month, with four of them occurring in the early hours of Monday morning.
A spokesperson for the Gardai said no arrests have been made and investigations are on going.
