GARDAI in Letterkenny are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Lower Main Street last night. The incident occurred at Kernan’s Spar on Lower Main Street at 10.30pm on Monday night.
A male entered the shop and stole an undisclosed amount of cash as well as a quantity of cigarettes. The area was sealed off for a forensic examination this morning and investigations are ongoing.
