Gardaí investigating alleged Gortahork assault

GARDAÍ are investigating the alleged assault on a man in Gortahork.

Gardaí are investigating a couple of incidents that occurred in a licenced premises at Main Street, Gortahork on Monday, March 31, between approximately 9pm and 9.30pm when two men were allegedly assaulted by another man within the premises. The injuries sustained by the two men were not life threatening in nature.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are eager to speak with anyone who was present and who witnessed the incidents and we appeal to them to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on (074) 9153060.”
