GARDAÍ are seeking the assistance of the public in connection with a theft incident that occurred in a carpark at the Pier Road, Rathmullan on Saturday, February 21.
A black Zara handbag containing a purse had been left on the seat of a car and between 9am and 5pm the car was entered but no damage was caused.
However, the bag was stolen from the car.
“The purse was later located a short distance away and a small sum of cash had been stolen from it. The bag was not recovered,” a garda spokesperson explained.
“We appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or people in the area of the Pier Road on that date to get in touch with us. Any relevant information in relation to the incident should be passed on to Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
