GARDAÍ are investigating an attempted burglary at a property in Woodlawn, Stranorlar at the weekend.
The incident took place on Saturday, February 21 at approximately 7.45pm.
The resident of the house could hear a man’s voice shouting “hello”.
She asked who was there but received no response. It was then discovered that damage had been caused to a rear window at the property but no entry had been gained.
“We appeal to anyone who may have observed any type of suspicious activity, vehicles or people in the Woodlawn area on that date to get in touch with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530,” a garda spokesperson said.
“If anyone travelled in the Woodlawn area or in the areas of the Lifford Road, Stranorlar or Millbrae between 7.30pm and 8pm on that date with a dash-cam, we ask them to get in touch with us. The Garda Confidential Line may be reached on 1800 666 111 with any relevant information.”
