GARDA have confirmed they’re investigating an alleged ‘assault’ on a
young girl in Letterkenny last night.
A car park at the rear of premises on Port Road-Station Roundabout
area has been cordoned off by gardai since the early hours.
Two juveniles have been arrested and are being questioned by gardai at
Letterkenny Garda Station.
Gardai have declined to make any further comment at this stage, except
to say an assault was being investigated. They would not comment on the nature of the assault.
However, locally there is speculation a girl may have been sexually assaulted.
