GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that occurred at Galdonagh, Manorcunningham yesterday evening shortly before 5.15pm.
The collision involved a car and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was removed from the scene by ambulance to be taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where he remains to receive treatment for injuries sustained.
The driver and passenger of the car were also taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The car and the motorcycle were travelling from Raphoe towards Newtowncunningham on the L1214 when the collision occurred.
A spokesperson for Donegal Gardaí said, “We appeal to anybody who was travelling on that stretch of road around that time who had a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí.
“If anybody witnessed the collision who Gardaí have not yet spoken to then we ask them to make contact with us in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
