INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing after a car was set alight in Muff last Thursday.
The incident of criminal damage occurred in the area of Cannings Lane at approximately 4pm.
A garda spokesperson said: “A number of youths were observed in the area just before the car went on fire. The fire services attended the scene and extinguished the fire.”

Meanwhile, gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have dash-cam footage from the area to get in touch with gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.
“If anyone observed these youths in the area or if they have any relevant information, we ask them to please get in touch with us,” a garda spokesperson concluded.
