GARDAI in Ballybofey have issued an appeal for information surrounding the sudden death of Dean Lafferty (18) who was found dead at his Stranorlar home on Monday, February 17.

Gardai are remaining tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of the popular 18 year-old at his home in Admiran Park.

However, it is believed, he may have received blows to the head following an incident in Ballybofey the previous night.

Gardai are anxious to speak to any persons who were in the ‘Barca Bar,’ Navenney Street, Ballybofey on Sunday night, February 16, or where in the vicinity of the Barca Bar the same night between the hours of 10pm and 1am on Monday morning.

Gardai also took the opportunity to express their appreciation to all persons who have assisted them to date.
