Gardai appeal for information after Council yard broken into

GARDAI are appealing for information in relation to the theft of a tractor and other equipment which was stolen from a Donegal County Council yard in the early hours of this morning.
A gate at the Council yard at Glenmore just outside Ballybofey was forced open, and a blue New Holland tractor was taken, along with a front loader and dump trailer – they have a combined total of approximately €20,000.

Gardai are trying to trace the movements of the vehicle, which was seen in Ballybofey at approximately 6.15am this morning, travelling in the direction of Lifford and Letterkenny.
Anyone who has information in relation to the theft can contact gardai in Letterkenny on 074 91 67100.
