Sergeant Sharon Doherty from the Community Policing Unit in Letterkenny has bid farewell to her colleagues, as she retired today after 33 years’ service.
Sharon served in Dublin for 28 years and five years in Donegal Division.
A garda spokesperson said: “We wish her all the very best in the future and we hope that she and her family have good health and happiness in the years ahead. You will be missed Sharon.
“Happy retirement and enjoy the next chapter.”
