Garda recruitment events are being held in Donegal today.
They are being organised to give people an opportunity to find how what is involved in a career with the gardai.
There will be an information event at the Central Library in Letterkenny today between 3pm and 5pm.
Another information event will be held at Buncrana Garda Station this evening between 7pm and 9pm.
An information stand will also be at Letterkenny Shopping Centre on Tuesday, February 25, between 1pm and 2.30pm.
Everybody is welcome to attend these events.
A garda spokesperson said: “If you have an interest in joining An Garda Síochána, have any questions or would like to gain some insight into the many different ways that we serve the community, we would be delighted if you called to any of these events.
“Trainee Gardaí will be there to answer questions about the recruitment and training process and Community Policing Gardaí will be on hand to answer your questions also.
“Between now and then, we encourage those who are interested in applying to check out the eligibility requirements and training process here: https://www.garda.ie/!D2CZAZ.”
Applications for the current recruitment campaign close at 3pm on February 27.
