GARDAI are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Rathmullan man, Jim Boyle (aka ‘Philemy’).

He is described as being 5’10” in height, of a strong build and with black short hair and clean shaven.

When last seen, he was wearing a grey woollen worn jumper, black worn suit trousers and black wellingtons. No picture is available at present.

Mr Boyle is originally from Scotland, but moved to Ireland in the 1970s. He has no access to any vehicle apart from a pedal bicycle which he used as a means of transport.

An air, land and sea search has been ongoing in the area for a number of days.

Gardai are also appealing for farmers and landowners to check their lands, boundaries and outhouses for any sightings of Mr Boyle.

Anyone who has seen him, or who can assist in locating him, is asked to contact Milford Garda Station on 074-9153060.
