GARDAÍ are appealing for the driver of a car believed to have struck another vehicle to make contact with them.
The incident happened in a car park at Main Street, Ballybofey, (known as Mc Elhinney’s carpark), on Saturday, May 20, between 7.10pm and 8pm.
A black Skoda Octavia was parked at that location when it was struck on the passenger side by a silver/gold Skoda Octavia. It is believed that the driver of the car in question may have waited a short time before leaving the area.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to the driver of the silver/gold Skoda Octavia to make contact with us. We appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the collision to contact us also. If anybody was in that area around the time in question with a dash cam we ask them to make the footage available to Gardaí. Gardaí may be contacted in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100 in relation to the matter.”
