Gaoth Dobhair manager Mervyn O’Donnell believes his men will have to improve if they are to win the Dr Maguire Cup.
Reigning Donegal and Ulster champions Gaoth Dobhair were two up after the 47th minute, but they couldn’t hold on and failed to score for the remainder of the match.
The Magheragallon men were going for a record 16th title, but their manager Mervyn O’Donnell felt his team didn’t have the right mindset on county final day, and they will have to be better next week in the replay.
“To be honest, I don’t think we got ourselves one hundred percent up for that game.
“I didn’t feel it. We’d a wee comment about that in the warm down. You have to be completely at yourself coming into a county final.
“This is what happens when you’re not.”
