Gaoth Dobhair 1-17 Kilcar 0-5
Gaoth Dobhair proved much too strong for a depleted Kilcar side as they advance to the League final with a convincing 15 point win in Magheragallon on Saturday.
The hosts took a bit of time to get going but hit six scores in-a-row in the first half as four from Ethan Harkin had them 0-9 to 0-3 ahead at the break.
Ronan Mac Niallais’ men only grew further into the game in the second half and again they hit 1-7 on the spin with Fionnan Coyle bagging the goal on 41 minutes and Harkin extended his tally to 0-7.
Kilcar’s only second half points came from two Mark McHugh frees, with the former county star ending up with four of his sides five points, but there was only one winner in this contest.
