![The Regional Gael Factóir was held in the Parish Hall, Gortahork on Saturday night. A total of 24 acts took part this year. The competition is organized by Óige na Gaeltachta, f/ch Muintearais Teo. A musical drama staged by Club Óige Chríost Rí, Gortahork came 1st in the Meán Section. They are pictured with Séamus Ó Gallchóir, Údarás na Gaeltachta who presented the prizes, the judges, Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríghde, Proinsias Ó Gallchóir and Máire Anna Ní Bhaoill, along with John Shéamuis Ó Fearraigh [Óige na Gaeltachta], Síle Uí Ghallchóir and Marian Uí Fhearraigh of Muintearas Thír Chonaill.
