Oisin Gallen and Peadar Mogan have been named in RTÉ’s Team of the Year.
The Donegal pair were vital members of the Donegal side that won the Ulster Championship and reached the All-Ireland semi-final before being defeated by Galway.
Only three counties are represented in the team, with eight players selected from All-Ireland champions Armagh, while five from the beaten finalists Galway made the team along with the Donegal duo.
MacCumhaill’s man Gallen scored a total of 5-71 throughout the season and established himself as one of the most dangerous forwards in the country, with some super performances in close Ulster championship wins over Armagh and Tyrone.
St Naul’s man Mogan was a standout throughout the campaign, but he really stepped it up in the championship and won Player of the Month twice in-a-row in May and June, scoring 0-24 through the season.
