DONEGAL manager Rory Gallagher was happy to see his charges make it two wins from two games on Sunday against Cork.

Martin O’Reilly and Odhrán MacNiallais scored the goals as Donegal ran out 2-14 to 1-7 winners in Ballyshannon and they are in a healthy position going into the three-week break.

“You’re always pleased to win in Division 1. We’re pleased with the performance, particularly early in the game, I thought we were very good,” said Gallagher.

“It’s great to have won two and it is probably uncharted territory for ourselves in Division 1 over the last couple of years in particular.

“It’s very pleasing to have two wins on the board going into the break.”
