BOSCO Gallagher was no stranger to big finals when he starred with Fanad United but he says he won’t be regaling his Bonagee players with stories of his past successes this week.
Gallagher is a popular figure in local football circles and is Assistant Manager with Bonagee.
The Gweedore native was the goalkeeper when Fanad won the FAI Intermediate Cup in 1988, and enjoyed a trophy-laden career.
“I’m telling them about all the mistakes I made and telling them not to make them,” he joked.
“No this is all about them and I’m just trying to pass on whatever little nuggets of experience and information that I can.”
