Gaeil Fhánada 1-14 Naomh Bríd 1-10
Gaeil Fhánada are safe in Division 2 for another season after they got the better of Naomh Bríd in a play-off at O’Donnell Park today.
Mark McAteer scored a goal for Fanad in the first half and they led by 1-5 to 0-4 at the break.
However, Naomh Bríd were excellent at the start of the second half and pushed ahead when Aaron McGrory scored a penalty.
The sides were level after 55 minutes but Gaeil Fhánada kicked on and notched the next five points of the match.
Eoghan Gallagher registered the final point of the match for Naomh Bríd but they will play in Division 3 once again in 2026.
