YESTERDAY’S Division One reserve clash between Naomh Conaill and St Michael’s in Glenties was halted after a search and rescue helicopter landed on the pitch.

The aircraft landed at Davey Brennan Memorial Park in Glenties to pick up a local sergeant on its way to a major search operation in Glencolmcille.

As a result, the senior clash was delayed for up to half an hour.
