Packie Mailey’s reign as Bonagee United manager began with a win on Sunday afternoon as his team got the better of Fanad United in the Brian McCormick Cup.
Michael Funston provided the only goal of the game with less than two minutes on the clock.
It developed into a well-contested battle after that and clear-cut opportunities were few and far between.
Young Bonagee goalkeeper Andrew Nicholls managed to keep a clean sheet and his side were delighted to come away from Traigh-a-Loch with a win.
